Inter NGO Sports Meet
We organise an annual sports day for disadvantaged children to inculcate a spirit of competition and sportsmanship and to push them to challenge themselves and surpass their limitations. The event includes various types of activities including races, long jump, distance throw etc. It provides an opportunity for different NGOs to interact. It is hosted across 7 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad.
Differently Abled Sports Meet
This is a sports meet in aid of Concern India Foundation, organised by Secure Giving, for children with physical, cognitive, visual and auditory impairments. Children from various NGOs participate in a variety of races and activities in a fun filled day. The day is special not only for the children but also for all those present. The spirit shown by the children is something we all need to learn from and imbibe into our lives. The sports day is organised with the help of Special Olympics Bharat as the technical partner in Mumbai and Pune.
Splash
Splash is a drawing competition for special children organised by Secure Giving. It encourages the artistic ability in children and gives them the space to express their creativity. The event gives special children from different NGOs a chance to interact with one another helping them improve their social skills. It enables the children to come together and enjoy a fun-filled day of drawing, painting and colouring.
NGO Mela
The Ongoing Mela is an opportunity provided by Concern India Foundation, at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival held in Mumbai to grassroots organisations to showcase and sell products created by their beneficiaries. It provides an urban platform to artisans and organisations- some of them coming from the deepest and remotest pockets of rural India. The Ongoing Mela provides this opportunity to as many as 70 grassroots NGOs from across the country each year.
