In continuation of Lockdown Diaries to which we received an overwhelming response, we bring you the next round of competitions-so go ahead-unlock your creativity and have fun while doing so!

An online competition for-
Short story writing | Poetry writing | Art | And the all new Dance
​
There will be one prize of Rs. 5000/ in each category
(ie. One cash prize for short story writing, poetry writing, art and dance. This will not be for every age category- It will be across all age categories.
Each age group will however have a first, second and third prize for which special online certificates will be awarded).
​
Online participation certificates will be given to all participants
Age Groups: 8 to 11 years | 12 to 14 years | 15 to 18 years | 18 years and above
​
Short story, art and poetry will be judged by eminent authors, editors, poets, artists and gallerists
Dance will be judged by a mixed panel of dance professionals and dance lovers.

Art Judges:
Madhuri is a Pune-based artist with numerous national and international awards and a wide range of shows to her credit
Michelle Poonawalla is an artist who lives and works between London, UK, and Pune. Her work has been exhibited in top-notch shows in London, Dubai and Kochi.
Priyasri is deeply involved in many facets of art and culture. She has established AQ@Priyasri an art center for painting and printmaking in Baroda as well Priyasri Art Gallery in Mumbai
Roshini Vadehra is the Director of Vadehra Art Gallery in New Delhi. She also set up the Foundation for India Contemporary Art. She is on the advisory board of the Sushant School of Design and a member of the CII task force for arts and culture.
Shweta is an established artist with over 20 years of experience. She is also an art teacher and conducts highly popular workshops.
Short Story Judges:
Katie is a much-loved writer and illustrator of children’s books. She regularly conducts workshops on wildlife and creative writing.
Preeti Gill is an independent literary agent who has more than 20 years experience in the publishing industry as a commissioning editor and rights director. She is the editor of The Peripheral Centre: Voices from India’s Northeast as well as Bearing Witness: A Report on the Impact of Conflict on Women in Nagaland and Assam. Her writing has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. Her documentary Rambuai: Mizoram’s ‘Trouble’ Years (co-produced with Sanjoy Hazarika) was released in September
Sudha Shah spent seven years researching and writing The King in Exile: The Fall of the Royal Family of Burma, a biography of the last king of Burma and his family. The book was shortlisted for the Shakti Bhatt First Book Prize 2012 and for the Tata Literature Live First Book Award 2012. The book has been translated into Burmese, Thai and Marathi.
Poetry Judges:
Baisali Chatterjee Dutt Baisali is a Kolkata-based poet, author and columnist. Author of Sharbari Dutta, the Design Diva, she has also had her poetry published in various national and international magazines and anthologies.
Lakshmi Sankar is the co-founder of Atta Galatta, a bookstore and event space. A hugely popular venue for literary, art and cultural events, Atta Galatta is constantly buzzing with creative activity. It regularly organizes poetry readings, book readings, storytelling, theatre, film screenings and children's workshops. Its slam poetry events are highly popular. Atta Galatta felicitates the best and brightest of the Indian writers’ community with the Atta Galatta Bangalore Literature Festival Book
Sourav is a journalist, poet, and translator. He is the founding editor of Bengaluru Review magazine, and has conducted creative writing workshops for both children and adults in schools, colleges, and independent venues. He has worked as a visiting faculty at Azim Premji University and NIFT Bengaluru, and is currently teaching at Head Start Educational Academy. He is also a core member of 'Anjuman', a literary club that promotes Hindi-Urdu literature in Bengaluru.
Dance Judges:
Khushcheher Dallas, is the Director of The School of Classical Ballet and Western Dance (Mumbai). She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance (London) along with obtaining her Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD). During her 27 years of teaching, Khooshoo has successfully introduced other styles of dance to the school like Modern Theatre, Jazz and Latin American Dance.
Ramanjit Kaur is an international award-winning theatre and film actor and director. She is the National Vice President of Arts Leadership Council, Women Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Founder of The Creative Arts Academy, India. She is the creator of an All-Women Theatre troupe which has received a number of national awards and also travels internationally.
Aditya Upadhya is one of India’s pioneers in Afro-Latin dancing. He has been a professional dancer since 2003 and founded his school Vive la Salsa in 2005. He is one of the first Indian Salsa Dancers to represent India at international events.
Carlyta Mohini is an Indo Latin international folk fusion singer, lawyer , educationist, columnist and songwriter of hit original Indian film and Latin songs. She is a trained jazz and blues singer as well as a trained flamenco/salsa dancer who combines these aspects in her song compositions and her Indian Film and Latin fusion performances.
Ashok Kurien is the Founder Promoter/Director of ZEETV, Dish TV India Ltd., India.com, Ambience Advertising, Hanmer & Partners Public Relations and Director Livinguard AG Switzerland
Alokananda Roy is a classical dancer, dance educationist, choreographer and social worker. She has performed all over the country and the world to full houses. She runs her own dance school called Chandanaloke. She is presently working with the convicts of the Presidency Correctional Home, Kolkata and other correctional homes of West Bengal, in 'Dance Therapy'
Shalini Passi is the Founder of Shalini Passi Art Foundation & MASH She is an art, design and fashion patron, philanthropist, artist and an avid art & design collector.
Sharmila Mukerjee is the founder and artistic director of Sanjali Centre for Odissi Dance (Bangalore). A Grade A artist of Doordarshan and an established artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Sharmila has performed at various festivals and conferences in India and abroad. She is also a choreographer and has created many dance pieces and directed a number of productions in Odissi.
